There is certainly some rigidity between the semantic versioning notion of a "release" Edition, which would seem to be any Variation that does not Possess a qualifier for instance -SNAPSHOT but also doesn't have a qualifier which include -beta.four; and Maven's concept of a "release" Edition, which only appears to be to include the absence of -SNAP
